After School Club

We aim to provide the children with a happy, safe, warm and stimulating environment where they are able to play, learn and develop freely.

Information for Parents & Carers

  • All parents will be required to complete a registration pack for the child/children, detailing any special requirements that the co-ordinator needs to be aware of.

  • Once joined, a promise and collection form will need to be completed

  • The after school club operates an admissions policy please ask for details using the email address: afterschoolclub@galmptonprimary.org

  • As an Ofsted registered provision, parents will be able to claim their childcare costs alongside their tax credits (if eligible) or employer childcare voucher scheme.

  • Children are not allowed to leave the after school club unless accompanied by their parent/carer/nominated collector who are known to staff and named on the collection form.

  • Children should be collected promptly. If a parent/carer is unable to collect their child/children, they must inform the co-ordinator a soon as possible by email or phone. No child will be allowed to leave the premises with person or persons unknown.

  • All sessions must be pre-booked in advance. There are a maximum of 20 spaces available and these will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

  • All bookings must be booked through ParentPay by Midnight of the Thursday prior to the week during which sessions are required. Sessions are to be paid in full at the time of booking. Debts cannot be carried forward.

  • 48 hours notice must be given if a child will not be attending a booked session to avoid a charge. If less than 48 hours notice is given charges will still apply.

  • We cannot refund sessions if a child is absent due to illness / holidays.

  • When a session is booked, it is held open for that child whether or not they then attend (unless you are able to provide 48 hours notice).

  • Please ensure you read all policies and procedures before your child/children attend.
