This will be my 22nd year teaching at Galmpton Primary School and I feel incredibly lucky to have spent so many years as part of such a special school community. Sixteen of those years have been in Year 6, which continues to be a role I love—helping pupils prepare for the next step in their education is a real privilege. Both of my children attended Galmpton and I was their teacher in year 6; they both treasure their time here and for many years, it felt like a second home to them.

Before becoming a teacher, I studied Environmental Science at university and consequently, environmental and outdoor education is a real passion of mine.

Outside of school, I enjoy keeping active and spending time outdoors. I love walking my two dogs, Mollie and Tom, hiking on Dartmoor and cycling. I also love art and will happily spend hours in the holidays creating things.
