Shoebox appeal

Good afternoon parents, wonderful to see the children all back in school today. We will be sending you out a letter today to explain some additional measures we will be taking as we go into another lockdown. These measures are unlikely to impact on your families and we have no plans to change our staggering system or start/end of the day times. Do please let us know if going into another lockdown gives you particular concerns as we are here to support our school community as much as we possibly can.

The photo attached is a newsletter article from last November. As you can see our school brought in 86 boxes this time last year. These were sent off overseas so that children living in very difficult circumstances around the world have a present to open on Christmas day. I know that this is going to be a hard target to beat or match this Year, but I would ask parents/carers to do what you can. I guess some small gift is better than none! These can come into school on Friday when Christian Aid will come in to collect the boxes and dispatch them overseas. Many thanks, Mrs Burns
