School Closure from Monday 23rd March

Dear Parent / Carer,

Following the Government announcement to close schools from Monday onwards (for an unspecified period), we must follow the guidance and ascertain which children will need to attend school.

If you will require this provision, please email the school directly on admin.galmpton@acexcellence.co.uk.

We will need the following information:


Name of child/ren

Reason for provision (job details perhaps - NHS / Police etc / EHCP requirement)


This will allow us to formulate a plan. Obviously, the plan will be dependent on numbers of children and available staff but we are determined to support front line services. We appreciate your assistance in this matter.


For those who do not require this provision, we will stay in touch and offer guidance and support where possible. We remain open for the next two days and we will use this time to provide children with learning packs and explain the home learning support that all teachers will be providing. If your child is not able to be in school we will ensure they also have all the information they need to continue learning at home. Teachers have already been working on daily learning tasks and all the detail you need will go on to the website and class Dojo.

We have already begun to ‘step up’ to provide all the support we can and we will continue to do this over the coming weeks and months.
